I completed my honors and PhD in the Applied Mathematics Department at the Australian National University working on theoretical physical chemistry modeling electrolyte solutions. I received an award for my PhD for outstanding thesis completed in the School of Physics and Engineering. Next I was a postdoctoral researcher at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory working on quantum mechanical simulation of electrolyte solutions. I am currently a postdoctoral research fellow at University of Queensland working on modeling energy storage devices such as sodium ion capacitors.
