Anastasia is a linguist with research interests in sound patterns, endangered languages and global Englishes. She is the Director of the Strathy Language Unit at Queen’s University, a research unit dedicated to the study of the English language in Canada. She also conducts a documentation project in Toronto focused on the endangered languages of immigrant communities.
