Paul is a Senior Research Fellow in the Centre for Energy and Environmental Markets and the Faculty of Built Environment at UNSW. He was a Jean Monnet Fellow at the Florence School of Regulation, European University Institute, Florence for two years. Earlier he worked as a post-doctoral researcher with the Electricity Policy Research Group at the University of Cambridge.
As an economist, his interests include robustness in policy mixes, carbon policy interactions, renewable energy policy and is currently focused on policies and governance structures for a more sustainable built environment. Paul has a bachelor degree in Economics from the University of Melbourne and MPhil and PhD degrees in economics from the University of Cambridge.
