Lynda has two passions: journalism and environment. Formerly a journalist at MediaCorp and Mergermarket, she has worked on business, financial and general news, finding every chance to write about environment issues.
To further her understanding on how energy consumption has an impact on the environment, she completed a Harvard University course in energy and the environment.
Her other interests in scuba diving, travelling and cooking have also made her think more about the marine environment, waste management in third world nations and food security.
Lynda is effectively bilingual in English and Mandarin, having also gone to National Taiwan University for a Mandarin summer course in 2014.
