Boon Liang first joined Lutron in 1999 and is a 30 years veteran in providing low voltage solutions to the construction industry with experience in working as an owner’s representative, consultant, system integrator and manufacturer.
His expert understanding of the objectives of various stakeholders enabled him to devise solutions to meet and exceed organisations’ needs and expectations.
Boon Liang was instrumental in introducing technologically advanced lighting control systems into the high rise residential condominium market in order to enhance the development’s attractiveness and address the needs of the market for an apartment control system. Some of his successes cover prestigious multi-dwelling residences in the region.
On the commercial front, he has been successful in providing integrated solutions for award winning hotels, banking as well as educational institutions across South East Asia.
With the South East Asia region and in particular Singapore’s aggressive move towards a green and sustainable built environment, he is well poised to contribute as Lutron is a founding member of the Singapore Green Building Council.
A Marine Engineer by training, Boon Liang holds a BSc (hons) degree in Economics from the University of London. He is also a US Green Building Council LEED Accredited Professional.
