While at ClimateWorks, Scott has led the development of a range of projects investigating emissions reductions opportunities within Australia, including identifying energy efficiency opportunities for the supply chain and logistics sector, developing Melbourne Water's Greenhouse Mitigation Plan, and supporting the implementation of ClimateWorks' Regional Low Carbon Growth Plans. Scott co-authored ClimateWorks' briefing paper titled Improving Australia's Light Vehicle Fuel Efficiency, investigating the economy wide benefits of implementing best practice light vehicle CO2 emission standards for Australia. He has previously worked as an environmental engineer in Vancouver, Canada, developing projects with a focus on reducing emissions from waste disposal practices. He has worked across the private and local government sectors in Australia in an environmental engineering capacity.
Scott holds a Bachelor of Environmental Engineering and a Masters in Corporate Environmental and Sustainability Management.
