Magdy Martínez-Solimán is Assistant Secretary-General of the UN and Assistant Administrator of the United Nations Development Programme, where he leads the Bureau for Policy and Programme Support. He is UNDP's senior focal point for the 2030 Agenda. He was UN Resident Coordinator in Mexico, Executive Director of the UN Democracy Fund and UNDP’s Global Governance Practice Manager.
