On September 24-26, stakeholders from around the world and across the rubber value chain will come together in Hat Yai, Thailand, to discuss the challenges and opportunities that we face in the adoption and implementation of individual and global commitments to sustainable and ethical rubber.
Through breakout group discussions and presentations, participants will come away with new perspectives, a solutions-oriented approach to sourcing natural rubber sustainable, and new connects with stakeholders across the value chain.
This workshop includes a trip to visit rubber farms to learn from rubber smallholders in the Rattaphum District, Songkhla Province. Participants will learn from the methodology of farmers and visit three types of rubber farms: monoculture, agroforestry, and fully developed forest gardens.
