Course objectives

Trainer

Charlie Knaggs

Charlie leads ERM’s efforts in the areas of carbon accounting and decarbonisation across the APAC region, where works with clients to help them understand and achieve their net zero goals. His broad expertise ranges from economic modelling through to engineering, auditing, and strategy across carbon, energy efficiency and renewables.

He has over 20 years’ experience in the sustainability sector, both as a consultant and working in industry. He has worked extensively with corporate and government clients to develop net zero emissions targets and management strategies, and provides advice to governments on energy and carbon policy.

He has worked across most sectors, including property, banking, manufacturing, transport, mining, agriculture and forestry.

As a Registered Greenhouse and Energy Auditor, Charlie has provided assurance over many large emitting facilities and carbon sequestration projects. He has also audited numerous renewable electricity projects and claims.
