ESG and Sustainability in Asia: A Business Strategy is an essential capacity building programme targeted at business leaders and professionals who want to deepen their knowledge and application of ESG strategies for business performance.

The Enterprise Sustainability Programme (ESP) supports Singapore businesses to build capabilities in sustainability and capture new opportunities in the green economy. As part of the initiatives under the ESP, Enterprise Singapore has partnered industry players to conduct a series of ESP Sustainability Courses to help businesses build awareness and knowledge in sustainability. The ESP Foundational Course aims to equip business leaders with basic awareness and knowledge of sustainability, and serves as a foundation for businesses seeking to build capabilities for the green economy and develop a plan for sustainability efforts. Participants are provided access to tools and resources to assess the current sustainability readiness and performance of their businesses.
Eco-Business’ ESG and Sustainability in Asia: A Business Strategy is part of the ESP Foundational Course series.
1 Business entities registered and operating in Singapore. This excludes: (a) non-profit organisations and charities (registered as public companies limited by guarantee); and (b) foreign companies operating in Singapore (registered as branch or representative offices).
2 TACs will need to fulfil the following criteria: a) registered with Registry of Societies (ROS) or Accounting & Corporate Regulatory Authority (ACRA); and b) defined as a non-profit organisation.
3 There are currently three types of ESP Sustainability Courses: Foundational, Decarbonisation, and Sustainable Financing. Please refer to the ESP website here for the list of courses under each course type.

Other than the 70% course subsidy under the Enterprise Sustainability Programme, Eco-Business is offering a 30% discount for employees of non-profit organisations, institutes of higher learning or government agencies who are not eligible for EnterpriseSG’s 70% subsidy.
Eligible participants will enjoy the subsidy upfront and are only required to pay the subsidised or discounted course fees upon registration. However, they may be required to make full payment for the course if found to ineligible or fail to complete the course.
There are no pre-requisites for this course.
This course is targeted at senior and mid-level professionals who want to deepen their knowledge on the latest business and ESG trends, and how to apply it in their job functions across strategy, sustainability, finance, risk management, operations, human resources, marketing, communications and more.
We also welcome all other participants to join the course to learn about essentials in sustainability, or as a refresher to keep their pulse on the latest sustainability trends.
Yes, this course is purposed for executives globally, with a focus on Asia Pacific. Our training materials include relevant regional case studies, and we will be referencing key regulatory developments in key Asian markets in our course.
In addition to a comprehensive and interactive training on sustainability and ESG essentials, Eco-Business will tap on our expertise in regional trends and developments, as well as our media perspective for the training. Participants will also be given the opportunity to try out the sustainability self-assessment toolkit to help assess their organisation’s progress in the sustainability journey thus far.
Only the first 3 nominated participants will be able to enjoy the subsidized course fee of SG$450 per person. Subsequent participants will be required to pay the full course fee amount at SG$1,500 per person.
The sustainability self-assessment toolkit is a questionnaire for participants to determine the level of sustainability readiness of their questionnaire. The toolkit will provide a gap assessment result and highlight areas of improvement, and areas where the organization excels in. Organisations are invited to book a one-time complimentary review with Eco-Business to discuss the results and insights from the assessment.
Registration will close 2 weeks before the commencement of the course, as time is needed to verify the documents with EnterpriseSG for subsidised participants.
