Clean energy cooperation for South Asia

Representatives from India, Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan and Pakistan are meeting in India this week to discuss better energy solutions for South Asia as the region’s power requirements are set to triple in the next two decades. The one-day conference, organised by the SAARC Chamber of Commerce and Industry in collaboration with the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry, will discuss energy policy and procedure in the represented governments. They are also set to discuss sustainable energy supplies and the free flow of clean energy among South Asian countries.
