NSW power utilities should invest in efficient technology, new LNG developments in Queensland are certain to push up domestic gas prices, and a carbon price alone won’t be enough to get Australia “anywhere near” the 2020 emission reduction target, according to TruEnergy Australia chief executive Richard McIndoe.
