Indian, French firms to set up solar power plants

An Indian and a French company would soon undertake solar power projects in the eastern part of the country under which solar panels would be set up over water bodies.

For the project, a Memorandum of Understanding was recently signed between Ciel et Terre from France and Kolkata-based Klystron Electronics Ltd. The deal was facilitated by the European Business and Technology Centre (EBTC).

The EBTC assists European companies to explore business opportunities in clean technology in India.
