German firm CIC Group has partnered with Chinese manufacturer LDK Solar that includes a manufacturing and distribution agreement. CIC Group said it plans to build photovoltaic projects for LDK Solar in Croatia, Poland and the US. The two firms will discuss further details in January. CIC said in a statement that the partnership will strengthen their position in Eastern Europe and North America. LDK Solar, for its part, also said in a statement that they needed flexible and specialised companies like CIC to develop new markets.
