Renewable energy delivery systems have increased globally over the last year, according to International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) director general Adnan Z Ameen.
At the IRENA assembly in Abu Dhabi, Ameen said the agency noted a positive trend in 2012 despite the global economic difficulties in many countries.
The assembly, attended by more than 800 delegates from 136 countries aims to discuss achievements and challenges in the renewable energy sector.
