Martyn Harrison, corporate sustainability manager at Singapore industrial services firm Sembcorp Industries, has left the company after almost three years to join real estate services and investment firm CBRE.

Harrison takes on the role of senior sustainability consultant at CBRE, which is the world’s largest manager of commercial property. He will be based in Singapore, the company’s regional hub.
He brings more than 10 years’ experience in a range of industries including retail, consulting, utilities and government to the role. Harrison will be supporting local and global sustainability initiatives for the firm and its clients, CBRE told Eco-Business.
CBRE’s sustainability offering includes helping property clients to reduce waste, water use and greenhouse gas emissions with advice on how to change operations and how buildings are used.
Over Harrison’s career, he has managed the sustainability and environment team at Burnley Borough Council in the United Kingdom, worked in communications for environmental solutions firm GreenAsia Group, and as regional energy analyst for Johnson Controls. He joined Sembcorp in 2018.
