Engenuity Systems Inc, the largest distributor of open system products in the United States, on July 20 announced a solar program designed to power homes and businesses in the Canadian province of Ontario.
Together with Endura Energy and RainWise Inc, the organizations worked with the Independent Electricity System Operator (IESO) to create multiple 500 kW solar farms across the province with the PVMET200 environmental weather station.
The PVMET200, a photovoltaic (PV) solar system created by Engenuity and RainWise, will:
Detect overheating with ambient and back of cell temperature sensors now combine with data logging and metering technology to track and document the amount of energy likely to be produced over time
