For its 11th edition, the show will aim to further promote the development of smart cities, energy-efficient buildings as well as smart grid systems in China’s rapidly growing urbanisation projects.
Recognised as Asia’s premier platform for electrical engineering as well as building and home automation technology, the show continues to garner substantial support from leading industry players. Approximately 200 exhibitors have already confirmed their participation, including BOCHO (Switzerland), Control4 (USA), Dooya (China), Dynalite (Australia), Echelon (USA), EnOcean (Germany), Futina (China), HDL (China), IISFREE (China), LeGrand (France), Simbrom (China), WAGO Electronic (Germany) and Z-Wave (USA).
Apart from being held concurrently with the Guangzhou International Lighting Exhibition and Building Solar China, the latest edition of Guangzhou Electrical Building Technology will take place at Hall 9.1 and Hall 10.1 of Area B, together with another concurrent event – Wire & Cable Guangzhou.
The four shows will serve as a comprehensive platform for demonstrating the latest technologies and solutions on electrical engineering, lighting as well as building and home automation. Visitors are anticipated from a wide range of disciplines including energy service providers, power companies, system integrators, architects, designers, contractors and end-users.
Ms Lucia Wong, Deputy General Manager, Messe Frankfurt (Shanghai) Co Ltd commented: “We reached some great heights in 2013, and I believe we will continue this momentum into 2014. - Electrical engineering designs and applications
Energy-saving building development provides huge market potential for automation and electrical specialists
Smart cities and energy-saving technology have become prime concerns of China’s building market. The Chinese government has publicised its smart city programme by recently unveiling development plans for more than 200 smart cities, districts and towns. It is estimated that the market of smart city solutions in China will be worth RMB 500 billion by 2025.
In addition to smart cities, the Chinese government has also started implementing mandatory energy efficiency standards for new buildings. In fact, current national goals project at least 95 per cent of all new buildings in China to meet the country’s new energy efficiency standards by 2015. The aforementioned initiatives will create huge opportunities for building energy saving and efficiency, integrated building technology and home automation products and solutions.
Guangzhou Electrical Building Technology is organised by Guangzhou Guangya Messe Frankfurt Co Ltd. The fair is headed by the biennial Light + Building event in Frankfurt, which will take place from 30 March – 4 April 2014, with the following building technology events in China:
