Lucibel, the French LED lighting leader, has announced that it is opening a new office in Singapore, at the crossroads of Southeast Asia.
With a commercial presence in Asia since 2009, the company is now reinforcing its footprint in new countries (Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, etc.).
Lighting is one of the most dynamic industries in the world today, and the lighting market is being radically transformed due to the emergence of LEDs. The segment is enjoying growth rates of over 30 per cent per year in Southern Asia.
The opening of a new Lucibel office in Singapore offers improved proximity and service to the local customers already present such as LuxLight, a subsidiary of the Rexel group, or the Sandro clothing chain, whose Ion Orchard Luxury Shopping boutique in Singapore has been entirely relamped with LEDs by Lucibel.
Lucibel can thus respond more rapidly and appropriately to the growing local demand for LED solutions, and reinforce its distribution partnerships.
Charles d’Haussy, managing director of Lucibel Asia, comments: “Lucibel’s lighting solutions are generating strong interest in the area. The opening of our Singapore office will allow us to provide full support to the decision-makers and specifiers in the region. Our business strategy is to target the ‘premium’ segments in which LEDs contribute more than just a return on investment, especially the retail sector. Indeed, well-designed, high quality LED lighting in a boutique can significantly boost sales by better highlighting the products.”
