Taiwan showcases innovative green technologies at Ecotech Vietnam 2016

The Green Trade Project Office under Taiwan’s Ministry of Economic Affairs today announced the opening of the Taiwan Pavilion at the ECOTECH VIETNAM 2016, running from November 30 - December 3 in the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC) in Ho Chi Minh City.

The Taiwan Pavilion, located in the Hall A1 (Booth 262-265, 274-277), consists of nine exhibitors showcasing a wide range of innovative green products and services.

Technology solutions on display include solar PV racks and integrated systems offered by Hengs Technology; waterproof multirotor UAV (unmanned aerial vehicle) for water sampling from HT Green Technology; ESCO service of Cheng Long Intelligent Engineering; energy-efficient waveform correctors provided by Great Save Technology; energy-saving UPS products from Flight Technic & International; environmental monitoring equipment supplied by Environmental Technology Company; and online liquid analyzer manufactured by Ketech Scientific Instrument.

Hsin I Material presents its concrete tile line, which has received the Taiwan Green Building Material (GBM) Label certificate. Spring Pool Glass Industrial, Taiwan’s leading waste glass recycling company, introduces its new lightweight, fireproof insulation blocks made of recycled waste glass.

Li-Yen Ma, Division Chief of the Integrated Marketing Division at the Green Trade Project Office, said, “Amid the escalating impact of climate change, how to strike a balance between economic growth and sustainable development has become increasingly vital for countries around the world.

With its further integration into the global economy and rapid industrialization, Vietnam is expected to face more and more challenges.

Taiwan, leveraging its accumulated technological advantage in IT, semiconductor, mechanical engineering and composite material sectors, has continued to dedicate itself to the research and development of green technology solutions aiming to promote environmental protection, clean production, energy efficiency and green energy.

We believe the exhibition audience visiting the Taiwan Pavilion will easily find the most suitable products for their needs, and we hope that the exhibition will also serve as a starting point for Taiwan to work more closely with Vietnam towards future collaboration.”

During the exhibition, the Taiwan Delegation will also participate in the ‘International Workshop on the Role of New Technology for SMEs in Global Integration’, scheduled to be held on December 1 (08:00 – 11:45) in the SECC seminar room (2nd floor). Two Taiwanese companies, Hengs Technology and HT Green Technology, will present their feature products and solutions.
