Women in ESG and Sustainability Symposium: Empowering global voices for sustainable change in Bali, Indonesia

The “Women in ESG and Sustainability Symposium” (WESS) is set to take place on Saturday, February 15, 2025, at the beautiful Meru Hotel Sanur in Bali, uniting over 200 women from diverse sectors and backgrounds.

This pivotal gathering aims to highlight the invaluable contributions and leadership of women in the Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) landscape amidst the growing urgency of sustainability issues.

As the world continues to grapple with pressing ESG and sustainability challenges, WESS seeks to foster inclusive dialogue, spotlight grassroots initiatives, and amplify the transformative impact of women in sustainability.

Attendees will include representatives from grassroots organisations, youth groups, social enterprises, start-ups, foundations, NGOs, and corporate leaders, all coming together to share insights and explore collaborative solutions.

The symposium will run from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM in a relaxed yet engaging format featuring speakers, mentors, and interactive sessions.

Throughout the day, participants will have the opportunity for knowledge-sharing and networking during coffee breaks and the sustainable lunch, and hold meaningful conversations that inspire impactful actions. The event will culminate with a casual cocktail/mocktail gathering on the terrace, offering stunning views of Nusa Penida and Sanur Beach.

WESS is ideated and organised by the Women’s Investment Entrepreneurs Community Indonesia (WIEC) and is proudly supported by WISE Singapore, WeConnect International and other amazing affiliated partners. The symposium not only aims to connect women leaders but also to contribute meaningfully to global sustainability efforts.
