The EU-PolarNet is an initiative of the EU, which aims to make a better connection between polar science and society. It is working to develop the dialogue between policymakers, business, local communities, civil society and scientists in order to increase mutual understanding and to identify new ways of cooperation that will deliver economic and societal benefits.
An important objective of EU-PolarNet is to initiate, conduct and sustain an on-going dialogue and cooperation with all relevant stakeholders for the Polar Regions. EU-PolarNet wants to create and deliver a framework and implementation plan to facilitate mutually beneficial engagement and interaction between EU-PolarNet research programme participants and stakeholders.
