Professor Josef Settele is a research scientist at Helmholtz-Centre for Environmental Research - UFZ. He is also co-chair of the 2019 IPBES (Intergovernmental Science-Policy Platform on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services) Global Assessment Report on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services.
