Alvern is a current undergraduate at the National University of Singapore (NUS), majoring in Geography. His interest in the environment has led him to amongst other things, a volunteering trip to Bali where he cleaned mangroves, and working in the landscape department of a large local organisation. He is particularly interested in the intersection of businesses and the environment, and is currently pursuing a second major in Management.
Outside of the NUS classroom, you might find him in another classroom - studying Korean language, or working with other committee members in the NUS Geographical Society and NUS Korean Cultural Interest Group, where he is a finance director.
