Tamar Gutner is Associate Professor of the American University School of International Service. She is an expert on the performance and effectiveness of international organisations, particularly international financial institutions, and their role in global and regional governance. Within that area, she focuses on issues related to the World Bank, IMF, and regional development banks, such as the ADB and the AIIB.
