Eli joined ClimateWorks Australia in May 2012. He has extensive experience in developing public policy and working with government, having worked as a lawyer for the Victorian Government Solicitor's Office and Legal Policy Officer for the Victorian Department of Justice. He also has broad knowledge of energy-related industries and energy policy in Australia and internationally through his role as Energy Policy Advocate at the Moreland Energy Foundation.
Eli holds a Bachelor of Law (Hon) / Bachelor of Arts from the University of Melbourne, and is a recent graduate of the Centre for Sustainability Leadership Fellowship Program. He also happens to be a fluent Indonesian speaker, with certificates in Indonesian language from Satya Wacana and Atma Jaya universities in Java.
