Melinda supports organisations to achieve a positive social impact through research, strategy and communications. For more than a decade, her work has created measurable contributions to the objectives of not-for-profits, educational institutions, governments and commercial enterprises. She has extensive sector experience within energy, sustainability, infrastructure, property and education, as well as within the public service. To provoke people to think and act differently, she puts humanism and imagination at the centre of her work. Melinda is driven by a simple desire to make the world better.
As a Director at Ellis Jones, Melinda has supported the textile waste and sustainability enterprise SCR Group, the Sustainable Melbourne Fund and water company City West Water. She has also led the agency’s longstanding accounts with the Australian Government renewable energy agency, ARENA; and the Victorian Government departments of economic development (DEJTR), and of environment, land, water and planning (DELWP).
Melinda has worked across a number of government organisations and social enterprises focussed on informing and educating various demographics about energy and environmental matters, including active calls to environmentally-conscious action.
She is degree qualified in communications, psychology and Italian, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts (Media and Communications) (Hon) from the University of Melbourne.
