Dr. Lamb is a jointly appointed Development Fellow at the Atkinson Center for a Sustainable Future at Cornell University and the School of Civil Engineering at The University of Queensland. She holds a PhD in Tropical Marine Ecology and Fisheries Biology from James Cook University in Australia. Her research focuses on improving human and ocean health by finding solutions to minimize disease outbreaks associated with urbanization and development.
