A wee dram of biofuel

A former university professor in Scotland is making biofuel out of the by-products of Scotch whiskey for a venture he says could be worth US$97 million. Supported by a government programme to eliminate sources of waste, the initiative will also help Scotland meet its ambitious renewable energy target of using all renewable sources by 2020.
