Anna Iles has joined sustainability consulting firm Business for Social Responsibility (BSR), based in Hong Kong.

She takes on the role of associate director, futures, and will be working to identify emerging sustainability issues and trends and their implications for business. Iles, nee Simpson, will be leading forward-looking consulting projects, and publishing articles in The Fast Forward, BSR’s thought leadership publication.
She joins a San Fransico-headquartered sustainability consulting non-profit that has seven offices globally, with three in Asia, and works with clients including Amazon, Coca-Cola, Fujitsu, and Lazada.
Iles was previously lead English editor of PIE Strategy, a B Corp-certified Hong Kong-based sustainability consultancy, and spent more than 12 years with sustainability non-profit Forum for the Future, where latterly she was curator of The Futures Centre, a sustainability trend-spotting publication.
Over her career, she has worked in senior editorial roles for Women’s Environmental Network in the UK, where she was editor, and Down to Earth magazine, a science and environment magazine in India.
A published author, Iles has written two books, The brand strategist’s guide to desire and The Innovation-Friendly Organization. She is also a certified life coach.
