Australians want more renewables in next five years

An overwhelming number of Australians want more renewable energy over the next five years, according to a new report. It said almost 75 per cent of the Australians polled said that they would prefer their energy requirements supplied by renewable sources. The study, which surveyed 20 countries was commissioned by Vestas Wind Systems and Bloomberg New Energy Finance, also revealed that Australians are less enthusiastic about wind as a renewables source.
