China Longyuan completes first phase of Jiangsu Rudong pilot offshore wind farm

On 28 December 2011, China Longyuan had successfully put the first Phase of Jiangsu Rudong pilot offshore (intertidal zone) wind farm into operation, with the installed capacity of 99.3 MW. The planned capacity of the project is 150 MW, which is the largest offshore (intertidal zone) wind farm across the nation.

Following successive completion of project construction, the Company recently had 24 onshore wind power projects newly put into operation, with an installed capacity of 1,308.2 MW, which are distributed among 12 provinces. Among which, there are

  • 5 new wind power projects located in Inner Mongolia with the installed capacity of 247.7 MW,
  • 2 new wind power projects located in Heilongjiang with the installed capacity of 99 MW,
  • 2 new wind power projects located in Liaoning with the installed capacity of 99 MW,
  • 3 new wind power projects located in Hebei with the installed capacity of 249MW,
  • 1 new wind power project located in Gansu with the installed capacity of 49.5MW,
  • 1 new wind power project located in Xinjiang with the installed capacity of 49.5MW,
  • 1 new wind power project located in Tianjin with the installed capacity of 49.5MW,
  • 2 new wind power projects located in Shanxi with the installed capacity of 99 MW,
  • 1 new wind power project located in Ningxia with the installed capacity of 49.5MW,
  • 2 new wind power projects located in Jiangsu with the installed capacity of 121.5MW,
  • 2 new wind power projects located in Fujian with the installed capacity of 96 MW, and
  • 2 new wind power projects located in Guizhou with the installed capacity of 99 MW.

Thus far, the Company had 38 wind power projects newly put into operation for the year, with a cumulative installed capacity of 2,042 MW.

In addition, Gansu Zhangye photovoltaic power generation project had recently put into operation, with the installed capacity of 10 MW. Thus far, the Company had 3 photovoltaic power generation projects newly put into operation for the whole year, with a cumulative installed capacity of 58 MW.
