China’s solar cell makers take hit on various probes

Chinese solar cell manufacturers are battered further as anti-dumping probes pile up against the sector. India is the latest to launch an anti-dumping investigation against Chinese manufacturers. Liang Zongcun, an associate professor at the Institute for Solar Energy Systems of Sun Yat-Sen University, said India is a small market for China’s solar cells compared to the US and EU but its investigation is still seen to result in “destructive impacts” to the Chinese solar industry. India followed similar probes launched by the US and EU against China’s solar cell producers.
