Chinese local officials to get sustainability trainings

Recognising that China’s urbanization will impact its economic development, Chinese local officials are set to undergo urban sustainability trainings in collaboration with  The Paulson Institute in the US. The Paulson Institute and the China Association of Mayors have jointly developed the Chinese Mayors Urban Sustainability Training Programme to provide practical knowledge to Chinese municipal officials on how to improve their sustainability efforts. The programme will involve a three-week intensive training starting at the University of Chicago’s Graham School of Continuing Liberal and Professional Studies and end in China’s Tsinghua University where attendees will get China-specific instructions on how to carry out their sustainability program.
