Germany’s Conergy AG has further strengthened its presence in Thailand’s fast-growing solar energy market with a new contract signed to build three solar farms here with a combined generation capacity of 31.5 megawatts.
Owned by Siam Solar Energy 1 Co Ltd, a subsidiary of Thai Solar Energy Co Ltd, two projects will be in Suphan Buri province and one in Kanchanaburi.
Conergy will be responsible for planning, engineering and design as well as the supply and installation of components in the three photovoltaic (PV) solar parks covering a combined 790,000 square metres.
Once completed, they will together generate 45,200 MW-hours per year.
