Hurdles to India’s solar revolution

India is poised to be a huge solar energy market but at the moment, it is still experiencing growing pains. The country currently relies heavily on government help to develop clean energy and is still facing many obstacles. Recently an Indian official said that a big portion of the 500 MW solar thermal power project will be delayed or shelved before their completion next year. There are also reports of component shortages, dust storms and other policy changes that threaten solar development.
