Projects to build renewable energy test beds gain traction

Renewable energy test bed projects, which support the commercialization of technologies and products developed by Korean renewable energy companies, have been given much-needed impetus.

On the solar power front, a total of KRW 29.9 billion will be invested in Gumi Electronics & Information Technology Research Institute (GERI)’s solar power test bed project in Daegu and North Gyeongsang. The goal of solar power test bed projects in Chungcheong-do is to build key infrastructures designed to test technologies and products developed by solar power companies.
