Climate change poses a challenge to all countries but also offers tremendous opportunities for new economic growth, said Singapore’s Deputy Prime Minister Teo Chee Hean at the UN climate talks in Doha. Teo said the global demand for low-carbon solutions will bring about new demand for new skills and technology. It has also committed to a 16 per cent below BAU if a legally binding global agreement is signed.
