Solar bidding back on in Rajasthan

Rajasthan in India has restarted the bidding process for photovoltaic and thermal projects with major changes after being postponed in May. Under the new bid process, all the selected projects will be located in one solar park, with the Rajasthan Solarpark Development Company Limited mandated to allot plots to the winning bidders. A total of 200 MW of solar projects will be allocated under the new process. The postponement in May was said to have frustrated many potential investors who had put in time and money to take part in the process.
