Suez Environnement enters China’s desalination market

Suez Envionnement is set to enter the Chinese desalination market in the next two to three years. The world’s second largest water and waste service by revenue said that they are preparing to tender desalination projects in the municipality of Tianjin and Qingdao in East China’s Shandong Province. Jean-Louis Chaussade, Suez Environnement’s CEO, said they plan to be a major player in China. Suez Environnement is the company behind the world’s largest desalination plant at Wonthaggi, Melbourne.
