Turn-key communities for Australia

Jackson Landing, a 12-hectare planned waterfront community development in Sydney, has officially opened 16 years after the project was proposed. Developer Lend Lease has promised the new development’s 3,000 residents a made-to-order community, including social hubs and leisure activities, but some urban planning experts question whether the community feel will persist after the developers have gone.
