Atomex, the nuclear industry’s largest venue for suppliers wishing to conduct direct and open dialogue with their customers, is back from 19-20 October 2016.
The latest installment, VIII International Forum of Nuclear Industry Suppliers ATOMEX 2016, will comprise foreign companies which have significantly expanded their presence at this annual Moscow event.
ATOMEX, which has a long-standing reputation as a procurement platform for the Russian nuclear industry as well as domestic and foreign businesses, is organized by the Rosatom State Corporation.
Global players like Rolls-Royce and Mitsubishi Electric will be present at the 2016 event.
For example, Rolls-Royce Company will demonstrate their products for a number of nuclear and fuel cycle operations and provide detailed information on advisory services rendered to NPP operators in more than 20 countries worldwide.
Mitsubishi Electric Company, a key player in the area of electronics, will showcase its modern digital process control systems for nuclear power plants (NPPs) including those related to the VVER type reactors used by Rosatom both in Russia and abroad. The company’s representatives will share their experiences and achievements in the sphere of instrumentation and establishment of NPP simulation and operator training centers.
Also, it will be the first time when Finnish nuclear energy system providers will present themselves under the Finnish Association for Nuclear Energy, FinNuclear. The participants under this umbrella would include Adiabatix Oy, Dekra Industrial Oy, Inspecta Oy, Konecranes, MekaPro Oy, NesteJacobs Oy, Oy M. Rauanheimo AB and Saanio & Riekkola Oy.
Broadly, they will provide information relating to inspection, testing and certification of industrial equipment, disposal of nuclear wastes, engineering, procurement and construction services, and will demonstrate insulation, cable carrying systems and lighting for NPP infrastructure.
Israeli based Protective Coating Technology will take part in the exhibition for the first time and present state-of-art technologies in the sphere of protective coatings for various surfaces.
Representatives from Italy’s Prysmian cavi e sistemi srl and General Atomics as well as US-based companies will also take part in this event.
The Forum in 2015 was attended by 874 representatives from 191 companies, and the main event was covered by 74 mass media representatives. 77 companies took part in the exhibition with total area of 1240 square meters.
