Lord Mayor of Melbourne supports 2016 Irrigation Australia International Conference

Australia’s dedicated irrigation conference and exhibition, 2016 Irrigation Australia International Conference and Exhibition, has been welcomed by the City of Melbourne, Lord Mayor Robert Doyle.

In supporting the show, he commented, “I am pleased to welcome the 3000 irrigation industry professionals to Melbourne for the 2016 Irrigation Australia Conference and Exhibition.”

“With our network of 480 hectares of internationally acclaimed parks and gardens, the City of Melbourne understands that clever irrigation is key to keeping our green spaces healthy and thriving.” The conference and exhibition will take place between 24 -26 May 2016 and will cater for all areas of theirrigation value chain with a focus on agricultural and urban industries.

It has been eight years since Irrigation Australia has held its conference and exhibition in Melbourne and there is a groundswell of anticipation from the irrigation industry. The conference program will feature key international speakers who will discuss the future of the irrigation industry.

Event organisers welcome CHT Australia, Continental Water Systems and Power Flex Cables as first time exhibits who join long standing exhibitors, Philmac, Hunter, Toro, Franklin and Vinidex. With 68 exhibitors already confirmed and with nine months before the show opens, the 2016 exhibition is on track to be the most comprehensive and innovative irrigation show to date for the Asia Pacific region.
